(Full Time 5 Month Fixed Term Contract)
About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and detail-oriented Assets Audit Officer to join Council's Infrastructure Directorate on a fixed-term full-time contract.
In this role, you will undertake a structured condition and compliance audit of Council's extensive infrastructure portfolio, including roads, stormwater, buildings, parks, playgrounds, maritime assets and community facilities. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality and accuracy of Council's Asset Management System and support the delivery of the Whyalla Asset and Infrastructure Strategic Roadmap 2025-2028.
Working both in the field and the office, you will inspect and verify asset information, collect condition data, identify defects, update asset records and prepare audit reports that will assist Council in planning future maintenance and renewal programs.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in infrastructure inspections, asset management or civil works who enjoys working independently and is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for the community.

The remuneration for this role is in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Council's current Enterprise Agreement, commencing at Level 3 $85,125.
