About the role.
We are currently searching for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Project Specialist to join our Brisbane office on a 13 month fixed term basis. You will be a key member of the Product & Development team and will assist with the build and implementation of new products, processes and equipment across the business and into our store network across both Australia and New Zealand.
This is a hands-on role, where you will be working with both internal and external stakeholders to help bring projects to life and meet key business deadlines. You will also work collaboratively with cross functional teams including Purchasing, Training, Operations, IT, Marketing and franchise – playing an active role in assisting with projects to deliver on business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support NPD projects to meet key milestones and successful launches.
- Represent the NPD & Innovations team in planning and stakeholder meetings.
- Develop and implement operational procedures for stores, ensuring simplification and optimisation opportunities are realised.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including Franchise Partners and suppliers.
- Assist with product trials, equipment testing, and process sign offs in stores, with a strong focus on sustainability.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and feedback for internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Provide general support to the wider NPD & Innovation team as required.
About you.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a New Product Development role.
- Background in the quick service restaurant (QSR) or fast-food industry.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to deliver against key milestones.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills to work across functions and with franchise partners/suppliers.
- Practical, hands-on approach with experience in developing procedures, testing products/equipment, and driving process improvements.
