Female Support Worker

Are you looking for meaningful, long-term casual work in a friendly and supportive home? 

We’re seeking organised, flexible, and kind-hearted team members to assist a professional woman with disability in her daily life, based in Darling Heights, Toowoomba, where she lives with her spouse and their beloved dog. This role involves personal care, domestic support, help preparing for work, and assistance with community and family commitments. Training is provided, and experience is welcome but not essential — we value the right attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. 

About the Role: 

  • Shifts available across the week, with an emphasis on Saturday evenings, and relief shifts.
  • Most shifts are evenings with some morning and daytime hours.  
  • You’ll be working in a welcoming, respectful household with a small team that values good communication and mutual support.
  • A love of dogs is a bonus, as he is very much part of the family! 

Typical Shifts: 
(Mon–Sunday) 
• 7:00am – 10:00am 
• 7:00pm – 10:00pm  
(Some additional daytime hours may be offered) 

Requirements: 

  • Female applicants only
  • ABN and willing to obtain insurance
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Blue Card and/or Yellow Card (or willingness to apply)
  • Fit and healthy due to the physical nature of the role
  • Willingness to work weekends and fill in for other team members as needed
  • Provide two referees who can speak to your reliability and character 

Pay Rates (Under ABN): 

  • Weekdays and nights $55.00 per hour
  • Saturday $80.00 per hour
  • Sunday $90.00 per hour 
  • Public Holiday $100.00 per hour
