About the role: 

The Senior Analyst, Strategy will be responsible for building a customer-insight based corporate strategy and supporting the delivery of the strategy. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and delivery of corporate and business unit strategy,
  • Support investor-focused documents and communications
  • Undertake strategic reviews and commercial due diligence.

About you: 

To succeed as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Elders, you ideally have/are: 

  • At least 3 years in a Big 4 strategy team, top or second tier management consulting firm, investment bank or internal corporate strategy team 
  • Knowledge of Australian agriculture, which may have been gained through work or growing up on a family farm 
  • Experience in retail, financial services, or livestock agency industries favourable 
  • Exposure or interest in driving digital transformation programs and can translate business strategy into high level system requirements is favourable 
  • Excellent primary and secondary research skills 
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis capability, including basic statistics and discounted cashflow 
  • Outstanding communication and clear thinking skills - the ability to distil and simplify the complex 
  • Down to earth, pragmatic and accountable 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders 
  • Sound organisational skills and attention to detail
