About the role 
We are looking for a entry level Real Estate Settlements Officer to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Real Estate Settlements Officer, you will provide support to branch real estate staff through the timely processing of real estate sales and settlement transactions and ensure accounting for trust funds is compliant with State regulations. 

Responsibilities 
As a Real Estate Settlements Officer, you will: 

  • provide accounting and clerical support 
  • complete accurate data entry for real estate transactions 
  • prepare payments to clients and sales agents in a timely manner 
  • complete daily trust bank reconciliations 
  • support staff across the Elders Branch network on the centralised processes and procedures 

About you 
To succeed at Elders, you will: 

  • be a team player with a strong work ethic 
  • have experience in preparing payments and processing journal entries 
  • be expert in performing bank account reconciliations 
  • have strong skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel and Word. 
  • be able to provide high quality communication and customer service skills
  • have Real Estate industry experience (desirable)
