About the role 

We are looking for an Pricing Analyst join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis. 

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintaining system settings to support strategic pricing objectives, providing analysis & reporting and building/maintaining tools to assist the Rural Products Retail group.  Areas of focus include sales, margin, inventory, purchasing and general operations.  

They will be expected to demonstrate very strong analytical skills, isolate key issues to assist the management team in decision making and compliment systems development and integration projects as required 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Oversee pricing system control management 
  • Build and maintain financial & operational support tools which integrate with current systems 
  • Support central/forward purchase planning & sales forecasting 
  • Assist in the specification & development of reporting tools to improve margin performance 
  • Prepare and deliver margin performance reports to network & management teams as required 
  • Develop & implement exception reporting to support performance objectives 
  • Coordinate seasonal margin management reviews 

About you 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Information Technology, Supply Chain or similar 
  • At least 3 years practical experience in a business analyst role or similar 
  • Demonstrable experience in complex business data analysis 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers/stakeholders 
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills 
  • Advanced MS Excel & MS Access database management skills including VBA & external source integration 
  • SQL and Microsoft PowerBI/Power Pivot skills 
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable) 
  • Understanding of agribusiness merchandise categories (desirable) 
  • Supply chain & inventory management experience (desirable)
