Elders is proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness. The most trusted agribusiness brand in Australia. We’re part of the landscape, part of the local communities, part of Australia’s history and we are entrenched in Australian agriculture.

The brand is more than a company, more than a logo - it’s part of Australia. And, with an authentic drive to create a sustainable future for farming and the farmers of Australia, Elders is for Australian agriculture.

About the role:

People Services is a busy function at the heart of our broader P&C team responsible for providing quality operational support to employees and managers.  A great opportunity exists to join the team as the first point of contact for a broad range of HR requests and enquiries using exceptional customer service, curiosity, and eye for detail to:

  • Complete daily HRIS transactional processing including preparing employment contracts, letters, and other employee lifecycle documentation
  • Answer a broad range of HR queries from managers and employees in a timely manner
  • Ensure employee records are complete and up to date including regular follow-ups
  • Develop a broad understanding of P&C policies and procedures, enabling you to respond to queries in an appropriate manner
  • Conduct research to triage and problem-solve requests
  • Provide high-quality customer service and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

As we move to a new HRIS (Workday) in February 2023 a major focus will be embedding and enabling employee and manager self service

About you:

You enjoy being part of a supportive team, enjoy putting your hand up to help and are:

  • Systems savvy, with the ability to pick up new processes easily. Any exposure to Workday or similar will be highly favourable.
  • An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal. You're comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced in providing great customer service having gained prior experience in roles that require quick thinking, such as a service centre / service orientated corporate function
  • A stickler for detail, always demonstrating critical thinking
  • Curious to learn and build your knowledge in HR
  • Previous experience within People & Culture/Human Resources will be advantageous.
