Elders is investing $25 million to establish a world-first, wool handling business and is looking for an operations manager to coordinate and manage the day-to-day logistics, and operations at this newly built facility.

With access to custom-built, industry-leading software and automated guided vehicles, you will manage a team of up to 15 direct reports to deliver an efficient end-to-end process.



  • Oversee site operations in line with the organisational and facility objectives
  • Coordinate the receival of goods, prepare for weekly sales, conduct testing, and shipping
  • Manage and develop team, including rostering, training, and maintaining high performance
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless facility operations
  • Demonstrate and promote work health and safety culture
  • Supports regular stakeholder meetings to provide regular communication and knowledge sharing (targets, safety, and future opportunities for innovation).



  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong background in logistics and warehouse management
  • Clear communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Embraces change and innovation with an aptitude for technology
  • Welcomes a challenge and enjoys problem-solving
  • An understanding of the wool industry and agricultural would be an advantage but not essential
