About the role
We are looking for a Branch Manager for our irrigation fabrication branch to join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis.
This position requires the branch manager to take ownership and drive operations, oversee sales, and efficiently develop structure. It will challenge the manager to be adaptive and creative in developing new practices needed for the ongoing growth of the branch while remaining loyal to the company’s brand, and the expectations of the senior management. The Branch Manager is responsible for all branch operations including overseeing sales, delivery, receiving, job card management, inventory controls & stocktakes, managing the budget of project builds, and maintaining all branch quality to company standards and legal requirements while adhering to established policies, procedures, practices, and regulations. The Branch Manager will work closely with senior management to grow market share by developing strategies to streamline current standards to create positive project and branch outcomes. Working with a team to achieve the collaborative goals at regular intervals will be encouraged and supported by senior management.
Responsibilities
As a branch leader you will enjoy a day including:
- Be responsible for the management of irrigation projects and sales performance of the branch ensuring profitability & achievement of SMART goals.
- Build and maintain positive customer & supplier relationships to strengthen loyalty and reputation.
- Effective management of projects, job cards, staff, stock and resources.
- Keep stock control systems and equipment management, up to date and participate in future planning requirements with senior management.
- Present a professional image through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness, ensuring the good housing practices in and around the Scotland St premises.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and company standards with an emphasis on workplace health & safety
- Effectively participate in all audit processes to complete to a successful outcome within the given timeframe.
- Attend supplier & industry meetings as required.
- Management of the (branch) team by creating accountability and measurability within all relevant position descriptions, to strategically develop people through structured training and continuous development.
- Achieve on-budget project builds and/or give early advice on any expected deviation from the intended project timing and cost.
- Inspiring and motivating your team to maximise their potential
- Cultivating new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders presence
- Driving the marketing and promotion of all Elders products
- Prioritising the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders’ zero-harm culture
- Coaching and mentoring staff in identifying and developing new opportunities
About you

Although a tertiary qualification is not essential, sound financial knowledge and strong business acumen is required
