About the role
We are looking for a General Manager to join the growing team in Bundaberg on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for sales performance and driving growth and efficiency outcomes with the business. This is a senior leadership role where you will be entrusted to manage all aspects of operations including oversight of a number of Branches within the area of operation. Your leadership skills will allow you to influence branch leaders and staff, empowering them to grow with the support of an experienced network.
Responsibilities
As a General Manager you will enjoy a day including:
- Branch Manager (x3) reporting lines and day to day direction
- Drive financial performance
- Assist in strategy development and implementation
- Staff Management including identifying opportunities for growth and personal development and recruitment.
- Inventory Management
- Internal Communication co-ordination
- Work with current management through succession planning
About you
To excel at Elders, you:
- Are an experienced leader with an in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry including product, sales and project management
- Have a sound understanding of manufacturing concepts
- Can effectively lead and motivate a team, made up of various individuals, toward the achievement of annual sales and earnings targets
- Are comfortable and thrive in a collaborative and agile working environment
- Are resourceful, forward thinking and passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community
- Understand that people are our most important asset
- Understand that a high level of customer service and cultivating relationships with clients is essential to success
- Have proven capabilities in the management of operations, people and sales and strong negotiation skills
