About the role:

We are seeking a permanent full-time Assistant Property Manager to work with our dynamic team. Working alongside a full-time Property Management Team you will be challenged whilst being supported to learn with ongoing training and enjoying the benefits of a great team and office environment.


  • To complete property reports, including ingoing, outgoing and quarterly inspections.
  • Assist the Real Estate team with marketing / advertising properties, lease agreement/renewal preparation and property management assistance.
  • Attend home opens for prospective tenants.
  • Handling client queries and / or referring on to specialised staff as required.
  • Input and update tenant/landlord and creditor data into software.
  • Under the guidance of the Property Manager, prepare all relevant communication/documentation in relation to the tenant/landlord relationship, including Residential Tenancy Tribunal documentation.
  • Liaise with Property Maintenance providers to schedule repairs in accordance with landlord instructions.
  • Work alongside with the Senior Property Manager
  • Property Management administration

About you:

  • Prepared to undertake a Real Estate Industry approved traineeship (no prior qualifications)
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Good at multi-tasking and time management
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work to current systems and procedures while contributing as a team
  • The desire to grow within a company for the long term

Experience and Knowledge

  • Some office administration experience (desirable).
  • Real Estate industry experience (desirable).
  • Sound Microsoft Office / PC skills.
  • Customer Service skills (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping / accounts (desirable but not essential).


  • Year 12 (desirable).
  • Hold or studying towards, or able to commit towards obtaining relevant state real estate or Property Management licence/registration where applicable.
