ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the newly created team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

Our broking business is entering an exciting expansion phase and we are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to accelerate growth and help us achieve our vision to become the #1 finance broker in rural and regional Australia. Our metropolitan brokers are also in the mix to support the strong real estate network and other business sectors within Elders. 

Supported by the National Home & Commercial Finance Manager, you will have complete flexibility and autonomy to drive business development initiatives across Regional QLD and NSW.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Identify and onboard potential new brokers to grow Elders regional broker network 
  • Utilise existing contacting base to source new broker leads  
  • Support and develop existing broker network  
  • Build strong relationships within Real Estate Team: Agri Finance team: Marketing:  Asset Finance  
  • Conducting presentations via Teams and face to face  
  • Maintaining/building relationships via call plans; teams meetings; training sessions; etc 
  • Maintaining sales reports: social media programme; meeting agendas; scheduling 
  • Intra/Interstate travel  

ABOUT YOU 

  • Aggregation experience and/or experience in lending business development in the finance broking industry  
  • Self-motivated to initiate and drive business development growth 
  • Sound knowledge of ASIC requirements relating to residential and commercial lending  
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities
