About the role
As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible to work as an active member of a team and to provide team leadership and mentoring in providing high quality education and care in the Early Learning Centres and/or Preschool, within Council’s Children and Family Services.
The role includes:
• Developing strong and respectful relationships with children;
• Developing effective collaborative relationships that support and partner effectively with families, community and stakeholders;
• Implementing Council and Children and Family Services Code of Conduct, policies and associated procedures at all times;
• Planning, implementation and documentation of a reflective early childhood curriculum that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework and outcomes; and
• Working effectively with other educators and staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the Centre’s operations and in accordance with the Centre’s Quality Improvement Plan.

Salary
$73,736 p.a. to $82,584 p.a. + super
Eligibility to Apply
This position is open to Inner West Council Staff or its predecessors ( i.e. Ashfield, Marrickville, Leichhardt Council) only.
