Opportunity for a committed and experienced WHS professional to play a pivotal role in the delivery of Council’s WHS initiatives. This diverse role is positioned to promote a safety and well-being culture and influence this mindset across the organisation.
A proven background in finding contemporary, practical solutions to WHS issues and the ability to communicate effectively and credibly with all levels of employees across the organisation will be critical to your success in this role. Actively participate in Council’s safety committees to promote and deliver best practice safety procedures. Use your exceptional influential and leadership qualities to successfully apply WHS legislation and awareness to our diverse organisation.
Recognised WHS and trainer/assessor qualifications along with working knowledge of current legislation is required.
Total remuneration is in the range of $85,311.35 to $91,364.10 gross per annum comprised of:
· $77,909.91 to $83,437.53 base salary, plus
· $7,401.44 to $7,926.57 superannuation (calculated at 9.5%)
A fully maintained leaseback vehicle including private use is available for this position.
