An opportunity exists within our Environmental Services team for motivated individuals to assist the Natural Resource Management (NRM) Team to deliver a range of projects and activities throughout the Shire.
In these positions you will plan and coordinate grant funded NRM projects and on-ground works utilising contractors and volunteers, and provide advice and education/training activities for landholders and community groups.
To be successful in these roles you will require tertiary qualifications or practical work experience in Natural Resource Management (NRM), conservation and land management or environmental management, along with demonstrated expertise in delivering environmental projects and knowledge of local ecosystems including native plants and weed identification and management. An ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders, both in person and in writing, along with strong computer literacy and organisational skills will also stand you in good stead.
