We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced people manager to lead our Public, Environmental Health and Compliance Team.
This role provides protection, improvement and promotion of the environment, public health and safety of the community and upholds government legislation and Council policies, ensuring fair and safe application of the law.
In this role you will monitor, investigate and resolve regulatory matters in the areas of public and environment health, building and development and public safety across the beautiful Eurobodalla.
Your key areas of focus will include managing the team - including monitoring workflows and budgets; responding to complex complaints and coordinating customer requests; overseeing compliance and legal matters; developing and implementing programs; and providing guidance and advice to the community and a range of stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have the relevant tertiary qualifications; well developed leadership and management skills; a detailed knowledge of relevant legislation; and high level communication skills.
Total remuneration for this role is in the range of $93,354.21 to $114,016.42 gross per annum consisting of:
A leaseback vehicle (including full private usage) is available for this position.
This position is required to participate in an on-call roster for out of hours and weekend work.
