Based from our Moruya Depot, these exciting training opportunities exist within the Construction section of our Infrastructure Services department. As a Plant Operator Apprentice you will gain experience in the operation and maintenance of a variety of Plant used by Council on construction and maintenance jobs. This could include rollers, backhoes, graders, tractors and trucks.
Over three years you will develop practical skills on the job and complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations).
These roles will suit those who are able to carry out physical labouring tasks, complete both work and study commitments, enjoy working in a team and have a desire to build a career while contributing to local community infrastructure.
