Supply Supervisor
Punchbowl Laundry
The purpose of the Supply Supervisor is to lead and direct the Punchbowl stores team to achieve excellence in customer supply in quality, quantity and timeliness. All tasks to be done efficiently, safely and within budget guidelines.
The role
• Ensure all new staff receive the appropriate induction which must include:
- Health and Safety
- Introduction to the Quality Management System
- General employee information
• Supervise and coordinate the stores area and related activities in this area.
• Ensure management, procurement and control of textile stocks in accordance with budgeted investment and amortization guidelines.
• Ensure operating procedures are followed and where necessary recommend changes to the Operations Manager.
• To liaise and assist with all other sections of the laundry service, as required, to ensure customer needs are met.
• Ensure appropriate rostering of employees that meets agreed staffing levels.
• Encourage the culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
• Understand and follow Policies and Quality Management System operating procedures.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Operations Manager
