Laundry Worker - Punchbowl Laundry
Punchbowl Laundry is part of Ensign Services, the largest linen and textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia.
Our Laundry plants manage the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the essential services of manufacturing, pharmaceutical and food processing together with the hospitality sectors.
Duties
- Sorting through soiled and dirty linen and garments from restaurants, manufacturing facilities, food processors etc
- Processing of linen and garments
- Fast paced production work
- Machine Operating
- Repetitive tasks
- Following safe work procedures
Skills experience
- Can do attitude
- Willingness to be part of our safety culture
- Flexibility
- Good communication skills
- Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce
- Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work
- Basic literacy & numeracy skills
- Previous laundry experience would be an advantage but not necessary as on the job training will be provided.
