The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Evocca has opened a new Assessment Marking Faculty based at our Head Office in Springwood. Reporting to our Assessment Manager you will be accountable for inspiring and motivating students through the marking of assessments. Your feedback will support progress through the units required to obtain their Diploma qualification in Community Services, Community Services – Case Management, Youth Work or Youth Justice.
All submissions will be scrutinised against Evocca assessment approved benchmarks.
Initially you will be based at the Springwood Head Office during training for approximately two months. Thereafter flexible working arrangements across part-time and full-time hours will be available, including the opportunity to work from home.
The Duties & Responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Facilitate individual student learning through their assessments in a distance learning environment.
- Supporting and motivating students through marking their assessments.
- You will be accountable for providing quality feedback based on students individual needs by supporting Evocca tutors who are delivering the training.
- Marking assessments
- Other tutor administrative tasks as necessary
Your Skills & Experience
- You will have a relevant qualification in Community Services and/or Youth Work/Justice to at least a Diploma level. This is mandatory for the role
- Demonstrated relevant industry experience in this sector
- Strong interpersonal and written English skills
- You must be able to map your qualifications and experience to our HR Matrix
You will also have:
- Eligibility to become a member of relevant membership bodies
- Contribute to the building of supportive relationships with students through their assessments.
- A passion for helping others
- A proactive, resourceful attitude towards the working environment
- Permanent residency or a visa that permits full-time work valid for at least 2 years (copies will be requested)
- If you are successful in securing this position you will be required to undergo a police check/blue card
