Due to exciting and rapid growth of our organisation, we are now seeking 10 highly skilled trainers to join our Community Service branches based in Strathpine, Springwood and Loganholme.

As a trainer, you will have the ability to inspire others to pursue and achieve their dreams by offering them quality mentoring and motivation. You will engage, support and motivate the students to achieve their Community Services Diploma, the first step to achieving their dream.

The Duties & Responsibilities of the role are as follows:-

  • Facilitate distance learning to our students via phone, email, Skype and FaceTime

  • Mentoring and motivating students through their qualifications

  • Leading workshops and working with students individually

  • Identifying individual learning needs

  • Phone and email support to students

  • Marking assessments

  • Other trainer administrative tasks as necessary

Your Skills & Experience

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV or TAA in Training and Assessment is highly desirable

  • You MUST have a relevant qualification in Community Services or Youth Work to at least a Diploma level is mandatory for this role

  • Demonstrated five years relevant industry experience in any of the following areas is compulsory for this position:

    • Youth Work

    • Youth justice

    • Mental health

    • Community Welfare and Services

  • You must also be able to map your qualifications and experience to our HR Matrix

  • Experience in distance training will also be highly advantageous to secure these opportunities

You will also have:

  • Ability to build relationships over the phone

  • A proactive and resourceful attitude

  • Permanent residency or a visa that permits full-time work, valid for at least 2 years (copies will be requested)

  • Ability to undergo a police check, if you are successful in securing this position
