Referral Bonus Reminder

Great People Know Great People!

Our Referral Program is designed to reward team members who introduce talented, like-minded people to Anyday. If you know someone who would be a great fit in one of our venues or departments, refer them and earn up to $1,000.

How It Works

• Management Roles (Asst. Manager & Above): $1,000
  
  • $500 at 6 months
  • $500 at 12 months
    
    
• All Other Roles: $500
  • $250 at 3 months
  • $250 at 6 months

Who Can Refer

Everyone is eligible to refer - front and back of house - except Senior Leadership Team roles and above. Leaders (Team Leader to Senior People Leader) may refer as long as the candidate joins a venue/area outside their own. This ensures fairness and keeps the process transparent.

This Week’s Spotlight

Max Murakami - Bar Manager, Agnes 

Tell us about your role!
The tallest bar spoon at Agnes! As Bar Manager, I take care of stock control, staffing, and ensuring the bar operations seamlessly day to day.

What is your favourite thing about being a part of Anyday?
It is the support. Being a part of a large, well-resourced group that continuously extends opportunities, guidance, and development to the team. 

Where can we find you on your days off?
With many creative outlets, I enjoy: building PC’s and PC gaming (especially creative ones), film, anime, science fiction, and cooking.

What is your go-to dish to prepare for friends and family?
I love cooking as a process rather than focusing on one specific dish. I enjoy preparing long-term components like stocks, pickles, and ferments. I approach food like I approach drinks and like Marco Pierre White said “cooking is a philosophy; it’s not a recipe”.

Your proudest career achievement so far?
Placing in the Top 100 Bartendings nationally in 2023 and progressing to the Top 50 with my contemporary riff on a Hemingway Daiquiri, titled “In All Earnestly”. In addition to this, mentoring and coaching a junior bartender who achieved 2nd place statewide in the Greenhorn competition hosted by The Gresham Bar. 

What is one thing your team would be surprised to learn about you?
I’ve worked in film and design, spent two years as a wakeboarding instructor, and hold a diving licence (certified to 20 metres). I speak three languages; English, French, and Thai - and have previously specialised in portrait drawing.

If you could trade jobs with someone at Anyday for a day, who would it be and why?
Cody Kings - I would love to experience the creativity here and see operations through his lens.
