We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to cover parental leave for 6 weeks within the Finance Team. Would suit someone with admin experience, or who is working towards their Certificate in Accounting, but it’s not essential.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for the day to day Accounts Payable function alongside a team of 4.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Entry of invoices into MYOB Acumatica
- Allocation of invoices for approval in Prospend
- Support & resolve internal and external stakeholder queries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
What we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Adaptable to a changing environment
- Proven ability to actively partner with both internal and external colleagues and management
- Self-driven with an ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to continually develop own skills and improve internal processes
- Strong skills in Excel
- An understanding of the Hospitality Industry is not essential but would be highly regarded
