We embrace the traditions of the past while being inspired by the present to brew balanced and natural beers of no fuss. Our brewery is a hub for the community, welcoming everyone to experience the sights, smells and most importantly tastes of a working brewery. 

Reporting directly to the Head Brewer of Felons Brewing Co, the Lead Brewer is responsible for day-to-day operation and management of the Manly brewery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading from the front and championing our safety and care culture – ensure adequate representation at site safety committees.
• Instil this culture of care and safety in all members of the team, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the brewery, with processes implemented to track.
• Relentlessly deliver against our core beer proposition - consistently delivering high quality beer on time.
• Be hands on in the day to day operations of the brewery – working shift work as required.
• Be a true all-rounder, leading the charge in brewing, cellaring and packaging as required.
• Actively champion our culture of passion, quality, care and relentless dedication to making and sharing the highest quality beer and experiences.
• Ensure rostering, timesheets and leave approvals are complied with by wider team
• Drive the team with their own development and learning plan – to support the brewing team having a strong, diverse and complimentary set of skills, and creating cross-skill opportunities to facilitate smoother operations

What we are looking for:

• Strong technical brewing skills, with a proven record of situational problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for leading a team
• Understanding and respect for supply chain processes and business financials
• Preparedness to work flexible work hours – rotating shifts and weekends
