We’re on an exciting period of growth and are currently recruiting for a passionate Assistant Venue Manager to join the Felons Barrel Hall team. The Assistant Venue Manager is responsible for setting and training the service standards at their venue. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will ensure that guests are provided with flawless experience by managing the service standards, whilst assisting with the day-to-day operations and developing and facilitating front-of-house training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
- Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do
- Visibly active on the floor, leading by example and supporting Food and Beverage Supervisors/Attendants to be the best they can be
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards, incidents and near misses
- Be a brand ambassador by demonstrating genuine passion for the business and brand
- Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
- Monitoring of wages, comps & wastages
- Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
- A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
- Ensure a strong connection to the brewery, the story of our beers and other hospitality operations
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in managing and coaching teams
- RSA essential, RMLV desired
- A background working in high volume hospitality environments.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
