We are actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to fill the position of Function and Events Coordinator within our enthusiastic Events team. The role primarily entails coordinating meetings and events located on the Island. It is important to note that this is a commuting position with occasional overnight stays required.
Position Description:
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills, a creative mindset, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
About You:
- Successful applicants would have experience in a similar position and possess the following attributes:
- Outstanding Customer Service and Confident Communication Skills
- Strong Administration and Data Entry Skills with an Exceptional Eye for Detail
- Excellent Time Management and Problem-Solving Skills
- Passion for Events and Preferably, Experience in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
- A Creative Mind with the Ability to Execute a Variety of Events
- Understanding of Weekend Work Requirements

- Maintaining a Positive, Friendly Demeanor with Clients, Contractors, and Colleagues
- Current RSA Certificate
- A Minimum of 3 Years of Experience in a Similar Role

- Ability to Collaboratively Work Within a Multi-faceted Business.
- Ability to Develop and Maintain Positive Relationships with All Key Stakeholders While Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
