We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused Dive Master to join our passionate team at FISH - The Fitzroy Island Sports Hub. If you are vibrant and energetic with excellent customer service and an eye for safety, you can be part of a passionate and fun team that loves the ocean and what they do.
Position Description:
You will be the first point of contact for resort guests and day trippers, who are attending an array of water-based activities on the Island. You will provide information regarding snorkelling and water-based activities at the Island, along with glass bottom boat tours and various other land-based activities. You will conduct snorkel tours and assist with allocating, returning and maintaining equipment for activities, as well as general retail store duties and tours. Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager, you aim to deliver a memorable, educational, safe, and positive experience for our guests.
About You:
Successful applicants would have robust experience in a similar position and possess the following attributes:
- Outstanding customer service and confident communication skills.
- Ability to understand and share factual and relevant information pertaining to the resort and the environment.
- Administration and data entry skills with an eye for detail.
- Have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Understand that weekend work will be required to meet the demands of the resort.
- Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with visitors and colleagues.
Essential:
- Dive Master.
- Working with children- Blue Card.
- First Aid certification.
