We are currently seeking an energetic & experienced Tours and Activities Assistant to join our passionate team. This is a Casual role, commuting to the Island via our ferry.
Position Description:
You will be the first point of contact for Resort Guests, who are attending an array of tours and activities on the Island. You will conduct fish feeding, guided bush walks and various educational talks, along with kid's club, arts and crafts activities, child minding and adults scheduled activities. You will work within the Front Office Department, to deliver memorable, educational and positive experiences for our guests.
About You:
Successful applicants would have experience in a similar position and possess the following attributes:
- Outstanding customer service and confident communication skills.
- Ability to understand and share factual and relevant information pertaining to the resort and the environment.
- Administration and data entry skills with an eye for detail.
- Have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Understand that weekend work will be required to meet the demands of the resort.
- Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with visitors and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Do you have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
Essential:
- Working with Children- Blue Card.
- First Aid certification.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
