The Flagstaff Group is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hands-on Production and Delivery Assistant to join our Flagstaff Group Services team in South Nowra.

This is a varied role combining production, warehouse and delivery responsibilities. You will assist with the preparation, packing and movement of customer orders, undertake deliveries and collections, support production activities and work alongside people with disability in a safe and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll play an important role in ensuring our commercial services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard while contributing to meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

Key Responsibilities (Click here for Job Description)

• Collect and deliver laundry to customers throughout the Shoalhaven using a Flagstaff vehicle.
• Load and unload laundry bags, trolleys and linen safely.
• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and pack laundry to customer specifications.
• Assist with production tasks to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Support supported employees in carrying out laundry and production duties under the direction of the Laundry Supervisor.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete delivery documentation and customer records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and customer service.
• Follow Workplace Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and safe laundry environment.
• Promote Flagstaff's values of Support, Lead, Include and Celebrate.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in commercial laundry, production, warehousing, hospitality, logistics or delivery services (desirable but not essential).
• A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence with a safe driving record.
• A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Good physical fitness and the ability to safely lift and move laundry bags and linen trolleys.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support people with disability in the workplace.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety.
