About the Project: Access2Work is a federally funded program aimed at helping people with high support needs and intellectual disabilities explore diverse employment options using supported employment as a foundation. The program leverages innovative learning methods and technology to build participants' employment skills and confidence.
Position Objectives: As a Project Officer/Job Coach, you will work alongside the Executive Manager of Strategy and Growth to develop and implement the Access2Work program. Your role will involve planning, executing, and evaluating a two-year funded project designed to increase the employment capacity of people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Access2Work project through, resource development and stakeholder engagement.
- Attract new participants to the program and engage with families, organisations, and the community to make people job ready
- Implement and evaluate the project to meet funding objectives and targets.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with organisations that may hire people with disability
- Deliver employment programs to build confidence and engagement for participants.
- Mentor and support people with disability to achieve their job goals in either supported or open employment

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in disability employment services.
- Strong interest in using technology to support employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- High level of computer skills, particularly in using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in project management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence and ability to provide a National Police Criminal History check and NDIS Worker Clearance.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Experience with technology learning tools.
- Proven track record in building partnerships and community engagement.
