The Opportunity 

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact? We’re looking for TWO , Full-time - Production and Delivery Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth production and delivery of services across Illawarra and South-West Sydney.

 At the Flagstaff Laundry division, we operate commercial laundry servicing the hospitality, accommodation, aged care and medical industry. Come be part of a team that supports meaningful employment, skills development, training and education for over 80 people with a disability who help operate the laundry. The role would require you to: 

  • Be flexible with start and finish times ranging between 5:00am to 5:30pm
  • Maintain required documentation.
  • Efficiently operate industrial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens
  • Adhere to strict infection control procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Collecting dirty linen and distributing clean laundry to various client locations in a timely manner 
  • Engage with customers offsite

 The Ideal Candidate would posses:

  • A current MR Driver’s License, and the ability to produce a driving record that demonstrates a safe driving history
  • A proven experience working in a field that reflects production, processing, delivery and pick up
  • A proven ability to undertake the physical requirements and expectations of the role
  • The ability to operate independently, efficiently and professionally with limited supervision
  • Capacity to work weekends (Saturday) and Public Holidays as required.
  • Compassion and commitment to providing respectful and effective mentorship  to our supported employees.
  • Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
  • Or willing to obtain National Police Clearance Check, NDIS check , WWCC & First-Aid certification, forklift ticket

  • Heavy Vehicle Allowance - $57.50 per week & First-Aid Allowance - $20.96 per week
  • Hourly rate at Grade 5 , SES Award- $28.06 per hour
