Flagstaff is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Laundry Production site located in Unanderra as a Laundry Production Assistant on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Equipment: Master our industrial washers, dryers, ironers, and folding machines with ease and efficiency.
- Sorting & Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards by sorting and inspecting laundry items for stains or damage.
- Safety & Maintenance: Follow safety protocols diligently, maintain equipment, and promptly report any issues.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry or dry-cleaning environment is a plus.
- General cleaning knowledge and some understanding of garment and fabric care preferred.
- Quick learner with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work Monday to Friday.
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- A results-oriented outlook, with a focus on achieving and exceeding production targets.
- Proven experience in operational/production setting. Laundry experience is preferred but not essential.
- A strong understanding of WHS processing and ensuring safe operating procedure of tools and machinery in the production line
- Or be willing to obtain National Police Clearance Check, NDIS check, WWC Check, First Aid
