Are you passionate about creating a safe & positive workplace culture? We’re looking for a Work Health & Safety Officer to join our People & Culture team on a full-time, basis. This hands-on role puts you at the forefront of workplace safety, where you'll actively drive compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, champion industry best practices, and implement standards to prevent workplace injuries.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading safety initiatives to keep our teams protected and informed.
- Running engaging WHS training sessions to empower staff, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company policies.
- Contribute to the development of non-accredited safety training
- Assist and develop Safe Operating Procedures.
- Investigating workplace incidents and implementing proactive solutions.
- Conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- Develop and implement Return to Work Plans.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 12 months experience required in previous WHS Roles.
- Successfully completed Return to Work Coordination training within the last 12 months.
- Experience in workplace safety, risk assessments, or incident investigations.
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety or higher qualification.
- Experience in lodging Workers Compensation claims.
- Knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Workers Compensation legislation, and Codes of Practice and Standards
- Strong computer skills, including ability to confidently use the Microsoft suites and multiple system platforms;
- Knowledge of Safety Culture Platform
- Great communication skills—you can engage teams and lead training sessions.
- A proactive mindset with a knack for problem-solving.

- Hourly rate based on SES Award - Grade 7 at $32.91 plus 11.5% superannuation
