The Opportunity
Working closely with our Employment Supports team based in North and South Nowra on a full-time basis ( 76 hrs. per fortnight) you will plan, facilitate, and provide support which directly assists in the development of life and employment skills. An opportunity to wear multiple hats of a role model, mentor and friend providing unwavering support.
In this role, you will be involved with people with a disability delivering supports to build:
- Social connections- get your creativity going! Support our participants with fun skill building activities like 3D Printing classes, art and music classes and Club Days
- Engage in community access- assist with daily support like attending doctors’ appointments, RSL's & Shopping Centres, Train and Ferry Rides around Sydney & Beach Days
- Support Employment goals- provide 1:1 work skills support across our various business division like laundry, packaging, engineering and grounds maintenance.
The Ideal Candidate
As a role model you will need to be passionate about creating an inclusive world where ability is the focus
- Positive and energetic person- demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate and build partnerships with people.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate strong partnerships.
- Confident in using Microsoft suites and learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Cleared National Police Check, Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screen and a First Aid Certificate ( willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's licence and full vehicle comprehensive insurance
- Willingness to be flexible and work across evenings and weekends, if required.

- Hourly rate: $32.21 - $33.22 + Super
- Up to $15,900 tax free earning through salary packaging
- Support in maintaining your NDIS Worker Clearance, Working With Children (WWC) Check Police Clearance and First Aid certification
