The Role 

  • Part-time - 41.5 hrs per fortnight
  • Offering between $34-$37 per hours based n skills and experience 
  • Predominantly based in Illawarra, travel to Shoalhaven as required

Do you have a passion for health, fitness, cooking, and creativity? Want to make a real impact while helping others build confidence and life skills? We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join our vibrant team supporting individuals across the Illawarra & Shoalhaven.

No two days are the same—and that’s the beauty of it! As a Support Worker, you’ll encourage participants to live healthier, happier lives by guiding them through activities like:

  • Gym, fitness, and active movement sessions-help build physical wellbeing and confidence
  • Healthy cooking & nutrition programs-support participants in developing life-long skills in preparing delicious, nutritious meals
  • Creative expression- think arts & crafts, sewing, and music-based programs that build social connection and confidence
  • Community access- help participants navigate shopping trips, doctors’ appointments, and learn how to confidently use public transport
  • Employment mentoring- support individuals in building work-readiness skills, from resume writing to hands-on job training
  • Skill-building fun- facilitate exciting activities like 3D printing, Club Days, carpentry workshops, and more!

What We're Looking For

If you’re a self-starter with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, we want to hear from you! This part-time position working across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven offers 41.5 hours per fortnight, with opportunities to pick up weekend and evening shifts between our Unanderra, Port Kembla, and North Nowra sites. You're a great fit if you:  

  • Can confidently work independently and as part of a team
  • Are excited to support people to lead healthier, more connected lives
  • Confident in using Microsoft suites and learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Cleared National Police Check, Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screen and a First Aid Certificate ( willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and full vehicle comprehensive insurance
  • Flexibility to travel across our two regions , as required.
