The Opportunity 

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact?  Through our Ground Services division, we deliver a suite of high-quality commercial services including grounds maintenance, alongside packing and assembly, metal tag production, and more. We’re looking for a Full-time - Production and Delivery Assistant to join our Grounds Maintenance team based in the Illawarra. In this hands-on role, you’ll be working outdoors, operating equipment, engaging with customers, and ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard. The role would require you to: 

  • Carry out gardening and maintenance services, including mowing, whipper snipping, simple pruning, hedging, and planting.
  • Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while working offsite.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and reports.
  • Assist with transporting equipment and materials to and from sites.
  • Maintain required documentation.
  • Engage with customers offsite

 The Ideal Candidate would posses:

  • A current Full Australian Driver’s License, and the ability to produce a driving record that demonstrates a safe driving history
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools like whipper snippers, lawn mowers and general maintenance equipment. 
  • A proven ability to undertake the physical requirements and expectations of the role
  • Ability to withstand varied weather conditions and work with a flexible schedule across outdoor sites.
  • The ability to operate independently, efficiently and professionally with limited supervision
  • Compassion and commitment to providing respectful and effective mentorship to our employees with disabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
  • National Police Clearance Check, NDIS check & First-Aid certification
