The School to Work & Life Skills Team Leader is a hands-on leadership role. Whether you come from education, disability, youth work or employment services, this role lets you lead a supportive team and help participants build life skills and independence.

What Will My Role Entail?
- Lead and upskill Life Skills and School to Work Support Workers.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of program initiatives that help participants build confidence and pathways into employment or further learning.
- Manage staff performance, provide constructive feedback and support ongoing development.
- Plan, schedule and run meetings with participants and stakeholders
- Interpret NDIS plans and set SMART goals aligned with individual needs.
- Prepare assessments, reports, progress notes and evidence supporting NDIS funding requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards.
- Oversee scheduling, rostering and service delivery across Life Choices programs in the Shoalhaven region.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with schools, families, carers, community partners and internal teams.
About You
You may come from teaching, youth mentoring, VET delivery, childcare, behaviour support, disability services, employment services, or community development roles. What matters most is your ability to lead, inspire and support learning. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Education, Training & Assessment OR 2+ years relevant experience.
- High-level communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent digital and administrative capability (Microsoft Suite + internal systems).
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with a disability to achieve life, learning and independence goals.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Senior First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check, Working With Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
