The Program Vocational Skills Facilitator (S2W) is a hands-on role. Whether you come from education, disability, youth work or employment services, this role lets you lead a supportive team and help participants build life skills and independence.
What Will My Role Entail?
- Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships that ensure organisational standards and values are upheld
- Demonstrate strong self-management and leadership by acting as a positive role model
- Plan, schedule and deliver group support and training that supports participants to achieve social and vocational goals
- Interpret NDIS plans and set SMART goals aligned with participant aspirations
- Maintain accurate participant records and administrative compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with participants, staff, service providers and community stakeholders
- Coordinate and oversee the work of staff engaged at a lower level where required
- Support the development of inclusive employment pathways for participants
- Comply with all organisational policies, procedures and NDIS Quality & Safeguards requirements
- Provide transport and support participants to access community-based learning opportunities when required
About You
You enjoy mentoring others, building relationships in the community, and creating opportunities for people to succeed. Additionaly;
- Hold tertiary qualifications relevant to the role or at least 2 years demonstrated industry experience
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with people from all backgrounds, including participants, schools, families, colleagues and community partners
- Can demonstrate high level of computer literacy with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Has high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Most importantly, you are someone who is passionate about empowering young people to believe in themselves, build real-life skills, and take meaningful steps toward employment and independence.
