Wintringham provides affordable, high-quality housing, support, aged care, and NDIS services to people over 50 who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. We partner with residents to reach shared goals, advocate for older people, and strive for equality and social justice.

 

Your new role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hospitality Coordinator to join our team at Ron Conn Residential Aged Care in Avondale Heights. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will oversee food services across multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals to our residents.

 

You will supervise and support a skilled team, contribute to service improvement, and help build a sustainable workforce. Your expertise will ensure compliance with food safety standards and accreditation requirements, while fostering resident engagement and satisfaction.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include the below:

  • Oversee meal preparation and delivery, ensuring quality and nutrition standards
  • Manage food safety compliance and participate in audits
  • Supervise and support hospitality staff across multiple sites
  • Develop and review seasonal menus with input from residents and dieticians
  • Control costs, manage budgets, and minimize wastage
  • Coordinate staff recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and continuous improvement

 

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Experience in cook-chill production and multi-site service management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Financial management and food safety program expertise
  • Experience in internal review, audit, and accreditation standards
  • Menu planning with consumer engagement
  • Staff supervision and event coordination
  • Flexible, friendly, and non-judgmental attitude
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff and residents
  • Strong team player
