The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about accounting and financial analysis and ready to take on a dynamic role in a thriving company? We're seeking a self-driven Finance Analyst to join the team based in our Chullora, NSW office.

 As part of the Finance team, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting various facets of periodic reporting activities for our Liverpool Bakeries Operations. This includes conducting trial balance reviews, providing insightful recommendations, and delivering detailed analyses on business performance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support periodic reporting activities, including commentaries and trial balance reviews.
• Provide insights to management on variances and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee stocks reconciliations to minimize risks and take appropriate actions on stock gains or losses.
• Ensure high-quality GL reconciliations between various systems.
• Assist in weekly variances and P&L reporting.
• Support the Annual Budgeting and monthly Forecasting process.
• Manage ERP inventory setup, BOM setup, and standard cost updates.

About you:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain experience in a complex financial environment. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will excel in dissecting financial data and make an impact in the success of our organisation.

To be successful you will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant business field.
• Qualified or Partially Qualified CA or CPA.
• Advanced Excel and experience in financial software systems such as Great Plains or SAP.
• Power BI experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to convey financial data to non-financial audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Capacity to thrive under multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
