We are currently seeking an experienced customer service specialist to manage taxi ranks for the Gold Coast. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient and safe ranks whilst supporting and developing a team of staff. We are looking for a customer focussed leader who is not afraid of taking on a challenge and can work well under pressure.
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Coordinate the allocation of resources to effectively manage taxi ranks.
- Recruit and train taxi rank staff.
- Monitor and review staff performance against agreed KPIs, provide feedback and support staff development through coaching and training.
- Promote and maintain a consistent focus on the delivery of outstanding customer service outcomes for passengers and drivers.
- Promote and support the development of a team approach between staff and drivers at taxi ranks.
- Regularly monitor and problem solve taxi rank issues in collaboration with key internal and (if appropriate) external stakeholders.
- Regularly monitor and take appropriate action to uphold company standards, policies and procedures at taxi ranks.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address any incidents or complaints related to staff and drivers occurring at ranks (where relevant).
Our ideal candidate MUST have (selection criteria):
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Proven experience developing a cohesive and motivated operational team.
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and to make sound decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of the Gold Coast.
Position Details:
- 38hrs per week including night, weekend and public holiday work.
- Must be available to do shift work.
- Salary $50,000-$55,000 + vehicle for work use.
