  • Barangaroo, Sydney CBD (Relocation to Randwick in September, 2025)
  • 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
  • Hybrid working environment (Minimum 2 days per week in the office)

 

Pro-Rata Salary Range of $81k Base to $91k Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11.5% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit

 

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Associate to support Project Manager’s on various projects across our Academic Project Operations (APO) team.

The Academic Project Operations team in Australia works closely with our Researchers to ensure studies and projects are delivered. APO Australia (APO AU) comprises of approximately 100 staff across multiple project teams.  The team is primarily responsible for the set-up, conduct and overall delivery of projects across all research programs in The Institute, according to best practice guidelines and research budgets.

  • Experience in Clinical Research: Please detail your experience in clinical research or a related field, ensuring you highlight any roles involving monitoring, data management, and/or site coordination.
  • Communication Skills:  Please provide detail of your experience with clinical trial management systems and data reporting.  Please indicate experiences gained.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience/ Our Successful Candidate  

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related science or health care discipline
  • Previous monitoring experience working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO or pharmaceutical environment
  • Working knowledge of, and ability to implement project activities in accordance with, ICH/GCP and all applicable regulations and guidelines in the relevant regions.
  • Sound understanding of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of ICH/ GCP guidelines
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws and all guidelines relevant to medical research
  • Excellent skills in MS Office applications including Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills   and   the   ability   to   work well   and   flexibly   i.e. autonomously, in small teams and with a wide range of varying stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong focus on producing the highest quality of work and on ensuring optimum accuracy of outputs
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours of work for collaboration and contact with global teams based on requirements of the position
