THE POSITION

Council is seeking suitably qualified persons who are interested in becoming part of Council’s casual employment pool to undertake work across a wide and varied range of positions and departments.

You will undertakes general administration duties and greets customers and visitors to Council's offices, responding to enquiries made in person or by telephone, by performing the following duties set out in the attached position description.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Specifically, you will have:

Essential

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Sound computer skills, particularly data entry skills, spreadsheets, word processing, Internet and email. 

Desirable

  • Qualifications in Business Administration or the equivalent
  • Current Class C (car) drivers licence
