About the Role As our Debtors Officer, you will:
Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes
Issue and track invoices for Council services
Monitor and recover overdue accounts
Assist the Rates Officer with rates and water accounts
Liaise with customers and external agencies
Support other finance functions including bank reconciliations and uniform allowances
You will report to the Financial Accountant and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely revenue collection.
What We’re Looking For Essential:
Experience in accounts receivable and debt recovery
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Desirable:
Certificate III or higher in accounting or related field
Knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
Current Class C Driver’s Licence
