Join Glen Innes Severn Council and help shape the future of our community’s youngest members. As an Educator Supervisor, you’ll lead engaging programs for children and families, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role
Plan and deliver creative activities for children aged 5–12 in Out of School Hours Care and for families with children 0–5 at outreach playgroups.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports each child’s development.
Build strong partnerships with families and the community, respecting diversity and aspirations.
Ensure compliance with education and care standards, and act as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person as required.
Work as part of a passionate team to deliver high-quality childcare services.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
Eligibility to be Nominated Supervisor/Responsible Person (ACECQA approved), including an Approved Child Protection Certificate.
Experience in children’s services and sound knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Class C Driver’s Licence.
Ability to meet requirements for Criminal Record, Police, and Working with Children Checks.
Desirable:
Relevant qualifications and current first aid certificates.
Experience supporting children with disabilities and coordinating playgroups.
Experience mentoring staff and managing rosters.
