About the Role
As the Works Officer (Aerodrome), you’ll be the Aerodrome Reporting Officer for Glen Innes Airport—ensuring aviation safety, managing operations, and maintaining the aerodrome. You’ll also support asset management and play a key role in keeping our airport running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Aerodrome Reporting Officer duties as per Civil Aviation Safety Authority standards
Conduct airport inspections and grounds maintenance
Manage safety systems, documentation, and compliance
Supervise contractors and support emergency operations
Collect and manage asset data using electronic platforms
Operate heavy plant and perform maintenance as needed
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Ability to work independently
Experience in grounds, road, or airfield maintenance
Skilled in operating heavy plant (tractors, slashing/roller attachments)
