Business Development Representative

Location: Brisbane

The opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join our growing Sales team and sell our solution for HR departments across the country to solve their training needs.

As our new Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle - from the initial call to the close.


Position Requirements

  • You have at least 2 years of experience working in Sales and a completed Bachelor degree in a related field

  • You have valuable experience working in B2B Sales and technology or eLearning Sales

  • You have sound technical knowledge and you get excited about discussing our training solutions with C-level management

  • You have experience getting to know your client's business at a deep level to tailor solutions and solve their pain points
  • You are a hungry sales professional - willing to work hard while staying positive and demonstrating a great level of humility along the way
  • You have highly developer interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • You are a self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious
  • You are a team player - working alongside your team and adding to its culture
  • You have a passion for learning and love sharing your knowledge
  • You are an influencer, motivating your colleagues to be their best at work. You approach daily tasks with flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm
  • Ideally you have graduated from a Business degree 


Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle:

          - Utilise calls to qualify potential opportunities and schedule consultations with the new lead and yourself

          - Use the scheduled consultations to engage with new leads and understand their Business needs in detail

          - Provide software demonstrations online, prepare tailored solutions and close sale

          - After the closed sale, you hand over the new customer to our Customer Success team for a smooth transition

  • Effectively use our CRM (Salesforce) to document all activities, calls, emails and contact made with prospects
  • Assist in the preparation of Sales and Marketing material

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + super + sales commission
