Commencing in January 2025, our program provides professional development training and on-the-job experience pathways, designed to help bridge the gap from academic study to the work environment. As a graduate of the City, you will have many opportunities available to you:

What's on offer

As an engineering graduate, you will have the opportunity to cover a wide range of areas including but not limited to civil, structural, traffic, environmental, coastal, hydraulic and mechanical engineering. Our roles are also extended into construction, planning and project management, providing you with a holistic perspective of the engineering industry. Working alongside an inspiring team of engineers, you will be offered meaningful and rewarding work on real projects with real responsibilities to deliver innovative and challenging projects that shape our City.

Who can apply

To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a recognised degree or post graduate qualification from a tertiary institution, completed within the last two years or be completed prior to the commencement of the program in January 2025. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program and be able to work full-time.

The engineering graduate positions are open to university graduates who have studied Bachelor Engineering (Civil) - or equivalent, assessed and accepted by Engineers Australia.
