Based at our site in Mitchell Park and reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will help make our vision of all people having the opportunity to use our products and experience the Haymes' way come to life!

A day in the life ...
- Perform scheduled repair and maintenance activities
- Respond to general housekeeping requirements
- Maintain a compliant and safe work environment
- Check the performance of machinery and perform basic diagnostics
- Assist in keeping inventory and the ordering and stocktaking of spare parts
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement activities and opportunities
- Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and escalate where necessary
- Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
You can fill these boots with....
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude and desire to progress along a maintenance pathway
- Effective communication and technology skills
- Well-developed time management and follow-through skills
- Ability to read and comprehend OH&S requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
- Capability to analyse problems to identify patterns and support solution-finding
- Commitment to the vision and values of Haymes Paint
Your extra primer could be:
- Previous mechanical maintenance experience or trade certificate is a plus
- A licence to operate a forklift truck
- Basic welding skills
