Host Home Provider

Job No: HH262
Location: Deception Bay or Surrounding Suburbs

We are currently seeking an ongoing Host in the Deception Bay area or surrounding suburbs, who is just the right fit.

The person we support is a warm and charming woman in her early 60s. She has experienced various living arrangements and has found that a shared living arrangement works best for her at this time in her life. The ideal host will be someone who shares similar interests and values, has an understanding of individualised support, champions choice & control and welcomes her into their home as a family member.

Being well connected to her community in Deception Bay, she attends local community centres and libraries, explores her natural surroundings by way of coastal walks and bird watching in nature reserves and wetlands. She accesses local gyms and swimming pools and loves to get involved in pursuits that contribute to her community. She also loves to create, often tinkering with various craft projects. Socialising over coffee and connecting with community and family is also of importance.

Her host will be integral in supporting the pursuit of the good things in life, the completion of daily household tasks and ensuring a high standard lifestyle.
